The kid was not old enough to buy the gun or ammo for that matter. So yes, whoever signed the 4473 is responsible. If the kid bought the weapon through a private sale, the parents are still responsible for that kid and allowing him to have it.

Of course, I was being sarcastic. The point stands though.
Thank goodness, I was hunting for my Not Serious meme.

It is sad, and hopefully not some incident the Dems will use to further their gun control agenda. Georgia does not have any red-flag laws, and they allow teachers to carry in school.

So yes, let's hope this is not some September-surprise election cycle ploy to influence the outcome of 2024.
Ploy? Ploy?? Not knowing you, would like to assume that was simply a poorly turned phrase. Benefit of doubt given as this issue supersedes any political election. Do I have the answer? No. But not facing this, nor, looking for solutions is not the answer. Just saying.. Respectfully.

    Ploy?

Perhaps a wrong word. Ploy would imply they behind it. That’s a bridge to far for me.

Will they exploit it ? Yes, to the hilt.
