Australia has both hogs & goats.

The dam hogs root up so much earth but I do like BBQ.

Seems they could come up with some hog & goat feed with birth control in it. Somebody go patent it.

I missed the Australia connection, but when I was a wee lad and lived in Canberra, the problem was rabbits more so than anything else. (that was in the early '60s) Cool Galapagos video though. If they don't allow commercial hunts, they are missing out on some good revenue opportunities.

The connection is introduced species that do not belong in certain environments & cause havoc. Some reck the land others compete for resources or out right kill the indigenous species.

America has pigs, paythons, & Asian carp just to name a few. Here in the gulf the lion fish is a good example. They were introduce by the marine Aquarium hobby.
