I drove by Academy Fri at 7:30am. There were 3 people in line to get in. The sticker on the door said that they don't open till 9am. Geeez, waiting for an hour and a half for ammo?

I think I’ll start going everyday and get my three boxes . It’ll give me an excuse to get out of the house three days a week.

walked in last Friday - nothing left at 9:20am - except for one guy walking around with 3 boxes of 556 / 150rnd box. He said he got the last that was left..... I've tried a number of days to get there early, but always seem to be there to late..... last time I scored was 3 weeks ago and got 3 20rnd boxes of 223. Still have not found any 38spc ammo. This is becoming like Black Friday at Walmart 3 days a week.....

True! The gun guy told me that Mon and Fri are the best days to try - which is why I try on Wed and Fri..... LOL

I stopped by yesterday at 8:45 and there were about 40 people lined up. They had 20 rd boxes of 9mm in stock for $15. Doesn't seem worth it to me. If you happen to but a gun while you're in there, they have a box of ammo for sale set aside for each gun.
