I bought a Zastava M70 and immediately put a KNS adjustable piston in it for my Sandman S. After shooting it, it only runs reliably with the piston closed all the way which is pointless for an adjustable piston. I’d like to reinstall the original piston but I drilled the original pin out. Do you think just using rocksett would suffice in keeping the original screwed in?

I have replaced pistons to boost my usa made parts count. One must remember that piston must not be snugly screwed into the bolt carrier. AKs really flex a lot when fired.
