A fun fact someone here may already know. Or can go look it up... is that when they did the machine gun registry/amnesty thing back in the day. A few known convicted felons actually showed up with thiers. And even tho they weren't even allowed to not own any guns. The feds actually not only didn't throw em in jail. But they enrolled them. And they then was able to legally posses not only a gun.. but machine guns lol. And where legally able to keep them.. but only them till death or they sold them lol. Heard it was like 10 or so that did it as some sort or legal loophole. But if true it yet another documented case where feds themselves knowingly gave felons guns. Not counting fast and furious lol. Heard this thru the forgotten weapons channel on YouTube a while back. Seeing the comments here somehow reminded me of it lol
