Still open for posts why people see whatever it is and post "is it still available" even on the stuff a year old.

People don't read all the replies on a thread. However, given this specific thread here, people can't post when they sold something.

The intelligence lies in the person that designed the forum layout. You can't 100% lock the thread and some people don't understand when the yellow banner is gone it's closed. It's just mass confusion.

I agree with that however if people read every post in a thread it would greatly help.
