6.8SPC Info.

I am thinking of building up a AR in 6.8SPC and wanted to know what parts are specific to that round when compared to the 5.56 rifle. My understanding is that the only difference is the barrel and bolt, that I can use my current bolt carrier and magazines. Is this correct?

Only diffrence is the bolt,mags,and barrel..Current BCG is fine but for accuracy purposes I would get a designated as you want the BCG and chamber to ware togeather..

getting a new upper MI 12" handguard and an ARP 16" scout mid gas, ARP Vortex MD...now I need an affordable quick acquisition scope, red dot or whatever.

^^MATT is right Mags, Barrel and bolt^^ CPD or ASG mags are very reasonable and run well.

Which ones are you talking about Matt the only ones I see dont included BCG or charging handle?
