6.8 ar break ?????

I need a break or flash hider for a 6.8spc. But I can only find them for 5.56 & 7.62. Can I use one for a 7.62 and it do what it is meant to do or can I use one a 5.56 an have it drilled out?

Most 6.8 barrels are threaded for 5/8-24 so you'll likely use one for 7.62.

The barrel I've ordered has 1/2-36. Isn't that the same as 5.56 barrels

Wow I can find 1/2-28 for 5.56 & 5/8-24 for 7.62 so does anyone know where I can find a1/2-36 break? Maybe its a type-o

Why kind of barrel is it? I just did a little googling and found a 9mm muzzle device fits that spec.

I did not know Stag used 1/2 - 36. Learned something.

I decided to check Stag's web site and found that they sold a compensator for the 6.8.

This is what I got on my Stag, the 1/2x36 is correct and the 7.62x39 is correct also.
