I use the Chip Custom Power Mags that I buy in bulk for my builds, they are fitted to and engraved with the last 3 number of each gun. They will feed empty fired brass before the 1911 is delivered with a mag full of empty brass.

These have worked flawlessly for me and did not break the bank!

If we are posting 1911 pics here is mine lol. It's a Para expert, a handful of Wilson and springfield parts handfit and installed by me. I have 2 chrome 7 round colt mags, 1 mec gar, 1 Wilson and 2 ACT mags. It doesn't feed most hollow points. In terms of defense I either just run ball or critical defense with the red jelly thing plugging the hole. I have a safariland 7378 with a mid length drop on my battle belt. And a MFT IWB for appendix carry. The holster I use the most is a GALCO "cop series" black leather holster with a button thumb release.
