Hornady is awesome in general :) the polymer tips on their ELD-X 308 are supposed to be the end all be all, do everything projectile. The ELD-X has a heavier jacket that's more locked onto the lead core, for use in anti-material too, not just anti-personell. And still good for deer. So no need for carrying around two sets of data or trying to keep track of which magazine you grab. One and done. Supposedly. I wonder if it's the same polymer tip on the Hornady Black that you used on that deer that is also used on the Hornady ELD-X? I know it's a different projectile but I wonder if it's the same tip. Supposedly Hornady has the only polymer tip on the market that is proven to not deform while traveling through the air getting superheated, so they lay claim to having the most accurate polymer tip
Yep, looking forward to loading some x39 with SST'S. Then testing!

Try pulling some of the Hornady zombie killers and loading them on top of some Russian steel case and Russian powder and let me know how it works. I'm most interested in whether or not they'll cycle an SKS reliably

Last day on this job! Then going to nightshift. View attachment 270134
Boom! 308 hits so hard the horns flew off! Medium sized, not Berthawinkle I passed on the other day. Lots of fat on her. Bullet with jacket went thru. . Big damage. You can see the hit. Probably 120 yard hit.

Hopefully you have a concrete footer under that wall
these 2 I moved there did,... the first one and 4th one didn't...but.. I warned them prior to moving them there. I wonder if the 4th one will fall through the floor since I put it in the closet next to a bigger one in the closet next to it:oops: the 5th one was back on concrete

Ordered the mag loader for the CP-33 from KT. Loading the 33 rounds in correct orientation is tough, not switching to the + 17 extensions until I get the loader! LOL

Think I will throw a Bushnell TRS-25 on it after checking factory sights.

Well besides looking, I caught the rant by someone about some 10/22 that they didn’t realize was a very old post! I thought there was about to be a keyboard fight but someone pointed out that the other person was ranting about a years old post and while I commented along with a few others, admin took it all down! What a shame! The ranter is still current but I don’t recall his name but man was he sending out some keyboard hate! Nasty stuff! Telling the guy he should just burn his 10/22’and sell the metal for scrap! Bahaha

Been swapping some sights around. Just got this one fixed. I had put suppressor height sights on it not thinking when I built it that none of my carry holsters would fit it, duh. Looking forward to carring it. 12rds of lung blowing 9mm. Remsport rmr slide on the p80 frame. Shoots great.
