      Thompson Center Pro Hunter accuracy problem.

      I've had issue with a G2 22" barrel in 25-06 even after seasoning the barrel. I've also owned a Contender with a 10" 357 barrel that was a tac driver even with factory loads. It seems quality is either there or it's not. I hope you're able to work up a load that works for you.

      CCI at 1640fps seemed to work well at distance for power but when I slowed it down to 1400fps CCI it was a little more accurate out of my Marlin and CZ.

      Like an incoming mortar round. Once my spotter walked me up, I easily hit a 55 gal drum with the same 425gr round out of my H&R Buffalo Classic. My strikes were not straight on as expected but neither was my 308. My 45-70 sounded better :-)

      It's the common varmint model with mil-dot reticle. Just bought it 8/29/21 but recently sold my rifle before getting a chance to use it. $89 invested but will sell outright for $60 or trade for I've used this model on other rifles like Savage 110LE 308 down to 22lr with no issues.
