Fun watch. On Amazon prime. Based off several of the games. If you haven't played them you can still enjoy it.

One of the major locations in the show was from the original games (1997 and 1998)

They pulled things from the whole series and it was a treat to see. I'm so glad Amazon didn't drop the ball with this one - Fallout is one of those rare franchises that has stood the test of time, IMO.

Yep, as long as you don't mind waiting a decade for the next game.... fallout 5 ...2030 target date..
Hopefully season 2 won't take 2 years.

I was actually hoping the popularity of the show would put a fire under them to make Fallout 5 rather than just pump more money into 76. At this point, just having played through Oblivion and Skyrim again I would settle for Elder Scrolls 6 instead!

No it prompted them to update fallout 4 with the usual glitches, also bombing fallout London into oblivion. Days before its launch. It won't run on the update.
Now Microsoft bought them and fired a bunch of em. We may never see anything for a decade If ever. Fin'g bill gates. No fallout new vegas for ps4,5 ever cause of some pissing contest with Bethesda cause they didn't make it.
Oh, well. On the brightside we may get to experience the live action version if those idiots in power keep up the bs.

Wife has never played any of the games and loved it. Solid story line, interesting characters (mostly), lots of black humor.

I somehow missed MS buying Bethesda. I try and be a realist rather than an optimist or pessimist, but I don't see a behemoth like MS making any decisions about particular titles like FO5 or ES6 quickly. I'm having a blast playing through Mechwarrior 5 at the moment. The combat is a bit repetitive, but stomping around in big machines with cannons for arms really doesn't get old for me very fast.

Man, I'm old. I remember playing the first one for hours, overheating getting blasted, ejecting and running around with a rocket launcher getting stomped.
