Green is expensive. Look at all the diesel used to mine, to ship. The plastics, the cardboard it takes to send it all down the line. It's not nearly efficient as they lead you on. Now look at all this solar panel crap. Can't sell your house, insurance dropping customers. I like oil.

    Ruins your roof...
Wait until one of those penetrations thru your roof let's you find out it voided the roof warranty. Then wait until you see how much extra it costs to reroof when they have to remove and reinstall the solar panels. Then you may find out solar panel warranty is void because someone else removed and reinstalled the panels.
Has anyone had to reroof with solar panels already installed?

My next door neighbor did last week. His panels caused a few water leaks that he found a couple months ago from water leaking out from under his base boards. His roof was only about 10 yrs old when he had his panels installed.

He said his insurance pay for it and the solar company removed and reinstalled the panels at no charge, in which they used new mounting system. He is still out of his deductible of $2.5k

This is why I have not went solar due to potential head aches that can be caused by high winds from storms/hurricanes. I would rather pay more in electricity. I just replaced my roof in early august and it was $26K and they still have to replace some old fascia and flashing that they were supposed to in a valley…..starting to turn into a headache. Could only imagine having panels on my roof that caused damage and dealing with the back and forth with insurance and solar company

Saw a segment on TV with a realtor. Sell your house before the panels are paid off and you have a headache. Increase in value of the house because of the panels most often does not justify the original cost of the panels. Kinda like a in ground swimming pool. Cost to install the pool usually does not equate to an equal increase in value of the house.

Still waiting to see real #s that show cost of solar panels, (financed or paid in full) divided by their lifespan (in months) vs. normal monthly electric bill.
Would be really nice to know what the extra charge for removing and installing them would be too, since asphalt shingle roofs are only good for 10 years.

Good news (wait, Lets go Brandon still applies) I just returned from a trip clear up to the Green Bay area and back via Missouri area. Gas is cheapest right here kinda. Lots of Tennessee is the same at 3.01 to 3.30 and MS is same as Pensacola, 3.01 to 3.30. Most of the "north" was 3.40.

I bought gas in Pcola at 2.99 before I left last week and again at 2.99 at CEFCO just south of Meridan MS.

I didn't see any change with the 6% drop in oil price last week but it has crept back up since then.

No rhyme or reason to gas prices.

I haven't found one person yet outside of the media, a corrupt politician, or somebody in Hollywood that would say that biden's doing a good job. Even people I know that voted for him.
    Do you know anybody?

Other than the folks you listed , I don’t personally know of anyone that will admit that they do.

I guess it's only right oil is getting cheaper. The big guy has sold more than 25% of our "emergency" oil reserve and the oil emergency has been his actions. Just ask them, the dims are why gas has gone down.

Sure hope we don't have a real emergency while dumb dumb is playing politics with our money, oil, natural gas everything he deems "his" to control as King of the USA.
