Have one (or more) and like em? I love em. Would have more but supply always seems to be short. Currently own- cp33 w brace, p3at, Su16c, Ksg, pf9. Going to pick up pmr30 at the end of the month and a cmr30 and (2) P17's if I can find em for a reasonable $$. Knock on poly, never had an issue that required repair.

I have a p3at in .380 that I bought over 15 years ago. Several hundred rounds through it without an issue. When I bought it they were about the only ones with something like that. Few years ago I picked up a Bodyguard when they had the rebates going on. Now my Sig p365 has taken the role of the previous 2. That said I would have no problem recommending a KelTec p3at to someone if it fit their needs.

I never purchased a keltec that worked out of the box. Once I got them fixed, they are suitable fire arms. now days in the small pistols I would not recommend a purchase without the right to put 2 mags through the gun prior to purchase.
i have been interested in a sub2000. I just never see them for sale locally. But I do not spend much time in gunstores.

KelTec has some awesome designs, but in my limited experience (pmr30 and su-16) their quality control sucks. Their warranty work was great, but I don't like buying a gun that may work flawlessly or I may have to send back to get fixed out of the box. Got a couple friends with the same guns and they had great luck and no problems out of the box.
Innovation-wise, I love KelTec. I really want a ksg, but I don't think I'll buy a new one because of past experiences with poor reliability out of the box. Both my guns were first gen models. The su-16 was bought as a backpack gun, the pmr because a friend had one and I went with him to the range the first time and it was flawless and accurate. Both mine were prone to jams and the su-16 would just randomly drop the magazines that it came with.

    Got a few Keltec's & Grendels. Love 'em :)
Never had any real issues, but don't mind doing
trigger jobs and cleaning up the bolts, either.
Heck, I've had to do that on Ruger's, S&W's, and Marlins,
so it's all in what you are willing to do yourself.
Especially on Bargain Price guns...anything under 1K,
the owner should expect to do a break-in and
    interior tool-mark cleanup/deburring.

In all reality, the OWNER is now the QC specialist.
Most companies are more interested in putting out new products
than they are in QC'ing them...so the things that used to get
caught before they left the warehouse are now in the hands
of the owners...which also means that those who Find an Issue
MUST report those issues to the MFR, so they can be fixed by the MFR,
and other's won't have the same issue next year.

Those reports are why the PMR-30 barrel issue was recalled & replaced
and the issue was permanently fixed, instead of folks having to do
an at-home repair.that was beyond anyone that didn't have a lathe.
