Decided to tackle building my own suppressor and it turned out great. Didn't really save any money but it's totally legal and didn't have to wait for long to get approved (25 days from submitting). This is for a 300BO subsonic and has 18 baffles, which I drilled, clipped, ported and vented on a drill press with an x-y vise and mill bits. The spacers were cut using a pipe cutter and sanded on a drill press with a socket and pipe clamp. This is a 8.5" can with a Griffin adapter.
Not sure how you guys feel about "solvent traps" here, I'm very happy with it and already planning another build for 5.56 supers (which should be a lot easier and cheaper since it would use way less baffles.
