had a good time and the burgers were great, courtesy of nate? i think. finally got a GCGF shirt for the wife and i and picked up some 7.62x39 that i dont need. fondled a lever action in 44mag that should have come home with me. disappointed that i didnt win the i love strippers shirt in the raffle but maybe next time. wish we could have stayed longer but it was worth the trip.

Had a blast!! Got to shoot some full auto!! That was awesome! Bought a new .357! Also awesome. Wanted that .44 lever too. Thank you to everybody for putting it together. I say we do it every weekend.

I got there late, just in time to put few down range to the 200yd or so steel plates and clean up when the rain came.

Had a good time, hope we do this more than once a year.

Awesome time. I hadn't fired my Sterling SMG in quite some time, as in a couple of years. Asked a couple of ladies to shoot it, gave them a quick lesson on the controls, how to hold it and what to expect, and they did GREAT. They both had the grins on their faces, same as when a guy shoots it.

I guess I left before the rain. I didn't see any rain until I was almost home in Fairhope. It was good to see folks that I know and meet a few new ones. I was expecting a younger crowd. I didn't realize that so many forum members are old farts like me. I thought it was a good turnout. Thanks to you guys that put it together. I hope you do it again. Maybe in the Fall, after our hot humid Summer weather cools off. Even with all the threats from the weather people, it turned out to be a pretty damm nice day.

Awesome time at the swap and meet today. Picked up some 30-06 ammo for my newly acquired M1 Garand thanks to Bruce and had JJ and Bruce go through it a little and enforce my notion of what a nice gun I got. Big thanks to JJ for having all us hoodlums out to his place and thanks to all that chipped in and made it a great event. Glad to see some of you guys I have met already and good to meet those of you I hadn't had the privilege until today. Can't wait for the next one! I will bring a few guns with me next time.
