The Taurus Model 72 design reflects that of the Winchester Model 62. It does a great job emulating the original, which was phased out in 1958. Production on the model 72 ended around 2007.
For survival use or convenient storage, the guns can be broken down into two pieces by loosening the knob on the left side of the weapon.
