You can buy the upgraded gen 2 in 5.45x39 from the factory for less then 1500. They still make the 5.45x39 and was not a limited run.

All Galils are around 1500 new, except for the 308 model, not sure why you'd want to personally pay more on GunBroker but feel free to. Here is another FFL selling at the 1500 mark. You can also buy directly from IWI if you'd like for cheaper then GB. Probably some other guy on GB that's misinformed that they "don't make a 5.45x39 and it was only a limited run" trying to line their pockets on false info

There were no accusations, just stating that you can buy a factory new Gen 2 for 1500 for the people out there that may not be as educated on the galils and their backstory.

There were no accusations, just stating that you can buy a factory new Gen 2 for 1500 for the people out there that may not be as educated on the galils and their backstory. Gen 1s fetch a slightly higher price as they are discontinued and some people like the aesthetic but they are all rough 2000 and under, especially if they are used and not new in factory box. As a Galil lover, it's a great rifle, just didn't want someone to get taken for a ride as you bought it for roughly 1750 new when they came out, and they are currently still making 5.45x39 Galils. Cheers!
