Welcome. Personally I would save the extra $200 and buy an AR-15 with a collapsible butt stock. It will serve multiple purposes. I know Mikes had one the other day when I was in there for about $495 if you don't want to build one. I'm not trying to say get one or the other but it will make range time a lot more fun especially since 22lr ammo is hard to find and of course use a 5 rd mag for hunting and a great home defense tool to.

Yeah,I was just thinkin' ......... if you reload that 243Win Youth it would be a great starter gun. A 58-85gr loaded down would be a great killer with the recoil of a 223Rem. Then when she gets bigger,loaded normal with a NosPart or a Barnes TSX/TTSX it would kill most anything in north America. --- SAWMAN
