I need one take down detent spring, mine when flying during a build and hoped someone has an extra.

I lost one too but put in one of those red straws that comes with the cans of wd40 and cut it slightly (~.5mm) longer than it fit in the lower. After securing the buffer tube it works great.

I bought one of the spare small parts kits that has a couple in there, if you want I can drop one in the mail to you, just PM me your info.

Future ref: get a large plastic bag to assemble these springs and plungers in. They have a velocity equal to the round when launched during a build.

Interesting fact. Most springs, small screws and roll pins for the AR platform are available at...your local hobby shop that deals in RC models.

Plastic bag helps.
Go to a good hardware store or Tractor Supply and buy a 1/4" clevis pin and re-name it to "detent spring tool".
