Yeah I had thought about it, but I think Im going to stick with the LR route for now

Red Hills Arms in tally had a line on a Ruger American with the threaded barrel about a month ago. If you were interested in buying new.

I have been checking them out for awhile. I like what I have read about them and went and handled a few at the store. Will most likely be what I get If I don't find something a little higher end used. Thanks for the info.

Hi RealGunner, I am the owner of the Marlin bolt action 22 magnum posted a few days ago. I have the EXACT SAME GUN as the 22 mag except that it is in 22LR also. I call them the big brother / little brother setup. I will sell the 22 LR for the same price as the 22 mag if you are interested. Better yet, I could give you a great deal if you bought them both as a set. Again, if you put the 2 rifles together side by side, you can't tell which is which! Same exact scopes, stocks and all.
