Honestly, you are probably fine. I used to shoot my leftover soda/beer cans when I couldn't afford to go the range with my old daisy red ryder from when I was a kid. Believe it or not, it actually helped me get more accurate when I got back to the range! Being minute of beer can with a bb gun directly translates to the rifle range...who knew!

Just don't shoot a sling shot in Pensacola city limits. There is an ordinance against that.

Sec. 8-1-12. Use of slingshots.

It shall be unlawful for any person to use within the limits of the city any slingshot.

And here is the bird sanctuary rule. Notice it specifically says that it does not conflict with FL 790.

It shall be unlawful to hunt, kill, maim or trap, hunt with slingshot, or attempt to in any manner shoot or otherwise molest birds or any wild fowl, to rob or otherwise molest the nests or birds nesting or located within the city. This is not to conflict with F.S. § 790.33.

Thanks TP! That's all I've found as well... so I'm going to continue to shoot, and when small game comes in I'm going to kill some more squirrels. Them bastards are chewing up everything I own.
