Which one of your tactical shotguns do you carry on a road trip and what factors due you use to determine that shotgun?
In my case I have to many choices!
    1. Benelli M2 Tactical?
    2. Remington 1187 Tac II?
    3. FN TPS?
    4.Mossberg 590A1?
    5. Winchester 1300 Defender?
    6.Remington 870 Tactical?
    7. Saiga 12?

    This might be fun!!!!!

Portability wins out in my opinion. Collapsible stock or pistol grip.

Damn! That's a lot of firepower! I only have 1, Moss 930. So, not much head scratching for me.

Take em all, 2 in the front seat, 2 in the back, 2 in the trunk (1 for backup) 1 under the hood. That should cover all positions. Bring plenty of Zombie ammo.

So many choices. U already know this but the one with the pistol grip stock and no forward vertical grip kicks like a (*(Y with buck shot. I took mine off. It hurt to shoot. Maybe you mentioned it but it depends on where you are going on your trip and what you are driving or riding!. I thought about strapping my rifle to my back last deer season on my cycle but figured I'd get more attention than I like!:bowl: And while shotguns surely have their advantages, if I cannot do it with 15 rounds of 40 cal and an extra mag, then it's not going to get done!-:)

It would be an old double barrel shotgun that someone sawed off (more than likely) and it would kill on both ends. Sound like just the gun for you Dan.

The toddler toys and shotgun...that's old school. Actually, it's good to protect your most valuable possessions.
Let's talk old school - mine is a Western Auto 16 gauge pump. It was carried by my old man since the early 60s, and it's still doing its job protecting his grand kids.
