Not today but a few days ago. Picked up my Stoeger Cougar 8040 and my Kahr CW45 from TGD. As usual, 1911Junky did a great Cerakote job on these two pistols.

Won an auction, great deal, on a 7.62x39 upper, wow at GunBroker, ordered a enhanced bolt and mags today. The new CPD mags are 100%, the hornady 123SST ammo will be ordered and ARP Superbolt comes in Oct. At least I will get the accuracy lacking in an AK out of this ammo with an AR platform!

I need ammo locally if anyone has any to sell, both 556 and x39

    Thanks

Met up with gendoc early this morning. Got to shoot that hog leg .44 mag of his plus his .270 hunting rifle he just finished. Got a good lesson on zeroing scopes and general site adjusting. We also shot my AK off a rest and found out its pretty damn accurate, at least good enough for its intended use.

Side note: irritated a buzzard with my new electric sailplane afterwards. I think John was disappointed that it didn't attack and rip up my new toy.:lever:

Jake and I really need to get you pouring your own instead of paying too much.

Meh. I enjoy reloading, but I've never had any desire to cast. Plus these will be shot out of a factory Glock barrel. I know some people choose to shoot lead out of their Glocks, but I'd rather not.

not today, but yesterday I did all kinds of gun stuff! Woke up, went to the garage and put some finishing touches on a kydex mag carrier. Went to the TGD customer appreciation shoot and watched the 500 man handle all comers. Went home, shot about 200 rounds out back. Then back to the garage to put together a pistol lower that I've been slowly gathering parts for. All in all, a good day!

The only thing gun related I did today was clean the three rifles that were shot at the TGD meet yesterday. Unlike Mr. David Rowe, some of us have to clean our own guns.

Actually, I'm gonna frog lube them. We'll see how it goes.
