    It's not a question of whether or not marijuana is the same, worse or better than alcohol or other legal drugs at present those comparisons are immaterial - it is and as rider pointed out has been on the Federal schedule of illegal drugs for a long time. So you want to partake and still be able to purchase a firearm then work to have it legalized at the federal level - problem solved. This is not a new infringement of the 2A, just enforcement of the existing laws. Seems to me DEA just completed another review and decided no change in the status is necessary - suggest you submit your concerns to your congressmen for their action. Until then it is a matter of choice.
