Iver Johnson's 1873 Cattleman, Six Shooter, 7.5" Barrel, .44 Magnum Single Action Revolver. Revolver was made in Italy, Barrel is stamped Iver Johnson's Fitchburg Mass. Manufactured in 1974-75. Steel, Brass, and Wood. No Plastic! Blued Barrel and Cylinder. Bore is Bright, Rifling is Crisp. Color Case Hardened Frame, Brass Back Strap and Grip Frame. No Rust. Brass has not been polished in order to keep the weathered look. There are two lines of striation in the grain of the grips near the frame on both sides. It does not appear that they are cracked, but may possibly be the start. Grips are available at GunParts if someone wanted to replace them. This revolver is in overall very good condition. It's Heavy and Tough. Good Hog Hunting Gun for Close Range. I am second owner. There is no box or paperwork. Original owner put one box of 50 rounds through it.
