Okay guys got my hands on a 1908 ithaca double barrel shotgun It said smokeless powder steel on the barrels.All three numbers match but theres a f under the forearm have no clue what it means.The gun is not perfect but shoots and its tight to be a 105 years old can anybody tell me much about it thanks

I've got an Ithaca 16g double that still has my great-uncle's hunting license from 1919 in the buttstock,,,
saw one just like it at the NRA Museum recently.
