What's the difference in a 700 and a 710?

I am not an expert, have never had a 700. But I know all 710's have a removable magazine and the barrel is pressed on. The 710 is not a gun that you customize and this is probably one reason they sell cheaper than the 700's. This 710 has roughly a dozen deer kills since 2005 when I bought it. I am the original and only owner.

The 710 in .270 was the first gun I bought in 2003 and I've been hunting with it and killed every deer to date with it except during bow season. It may not be as smooth as a 700 but it is way better than a 770 to me. I still have the original Bushnell it came with. It shot an inch to the left out the box and I haven't had to sight it in since!

The 710 may have a bad rep as a low end gun but it's reliable and a deer killer and that's what counts!

You just cannot get a game killer all set up cheaper than this, for you first time hunters or someone who may be able to go out a couples time of year or not know when they will be able to hunt this is ideal!

Thank you Frank. This is probably as low as Im going to offer this gun with this higher end 50mm scope on it. When you start talking the low $ amount I am here, there are other means of selling a gun than to just give it away. My hope was someone who needs a nice Deer gun would be interested, before I take another route.

One problem is deer season is over, but that thing will kill hogs as well or better than any other caliber! If you can I would hold till just before next deer season and at least get another $100 out of it.
