Ok, here's a thought:
Run a "long gun" sidematch. You can run a rifle, or you can run a shotgun. Shotguns must use slugs for ease of scoring and pasting and like full power battle rifles only require 1 round per target while carbines require 2.

Reloads always kill the shotgun, just like ESR and SSR. Different divisions.

No way. And JW was just texting me that he would swap rifles with me. He'd probably max out the elevation and get me DQ'd for shooting over the berm.

There are lots of little rules that can be overwhelming to start, but don't fret over getting penalties, as long as you're safe. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
