You can snag a Springfield EMP for around that,those are bad ass,Ian has one in his pic IIRC..Be for-warned,this will not be your last 1911 purchase,I got off of glocks,can be a social user of AR"S ,but the cravings for 1911's haunt you daily..

Since we're talkin1911s I thought id ask if anyone has seen this yet..just saw it tonight in recent Pocket Pistols magazine...called a kimber sapphire...not sure id carry it but it definitely catches ur eyes.

My M&P9c I picked up today. Put a Docter sight on it and stippled it tonight (picture was taken before stippling). Took it to the range today and put about 100 rounds through it with the Docter on with no hiccups at all. I was actually surprised that the Docter was zeroed with no adjustments whatsoever.

VERY nice!

You are going to LOVE that MP22! I took a sharpie and filled in the markings on mine then wiped it off to darken them up some, looks mo better.

I have always had an interest in those scandium S&W 1911's, is that one aluminum steel or otherwise?

Its all stainless. I am very impressed with both of them, quality built and accurate shot
