I like Steampunk in part, I don't like the British flair that tends to come with steam punk. I prefer diesel punk. I am making a diesel punk guitar and I have all the eye candy for it but what I am lacking so far is a working electric guitar to put it all together. Cruising craigslist for one.

I'm designing a corner cabinet for my living room that slides under but will attach to my 48" wall hanging TV that will be steam punkish. That's why I was looking for copper strips on here. I've also gotten copper tubing and brass gears and knobs.

I dumpster dive anyplace that has metal parts etc. You may need permission from most places that get rid of scrap for cash. I have access to a lot of aircraft related items. Makes for good eye candy.

Same here on the AC parts. I constantly fight being a pack rat though, I want to drag anything home that even vaguely looks like something I might want to use later.
