Picked up a G40 MOS gen 4, education required.

My g30 gets most of my carry around the farm. I have a owb holster with a spare mag holder. One mag with defensive rounds for critters, and the second in the spare pouch loaded with snake shot. Snakes usually hang around long enough for a mag change.

I find that, with the 9mm shotshells, you want the muzzle to be within 5 feet of the head... same with the .45?

DIY hunting holster done, may need to tweek it. Have to test drive it a bit. Needs the straps adjusted better. May have to switch to the 10rd mag, lighter.

Just remember: That would be illegal under Florida's new "Constitutional Carry" bill... unless you're hunting, fishing, camping, or traveling to or from, in which case it was already legal before the bill. Go figure...

Got my backstraps, yeah! Pin included is too short, boooo!. Factory pin, pin that came with it. Guessing the purpose of the backstraps is to fit it to you hand better or is it for proper finger placement on the trigger? Should have gotten the od green ones.

It only came with the cover plate and backstrap. What other backstraps are available?? Also what plates are needed to use an optic?. Planning on adding an optic and using for hunting. Deer, hogs.
My first gen 4. Mag release swap over?
Does have an awesome ZEV trigger, don't know what model trigger.

New it came with all the back straps and the adapter plates. Go to the Glock website then go to their store, you can purchase those parts directly. I suggest looking at the HoloSun optics and decide on which model depending on your intended use.

I put a holosun scs MOS on mine last year and it’s been great, there’s no plate it mounts directly to the MOS holes and sits low enough to co-witness with stick sights. It’s held zero all year even after hiking 50 miles over a couple of weekends with it in a Kenai chest holster.

Scs mos is you guy then. It does dot, 32 Moa and dot/moa combo. I was Leary about the auto adjust especially since I have a pretty bad astigmatism but have not had a problem.

Does it look good or too big for 50 yard shots?? Circle and dot reticle. 50 yards would be my max range.
The green a good choice? I have a slight astigmatism. Red dots look like figure 8's or check marks sometimes... ok all the damm time. Old eyes suck.

Boom! Green. Looked to be the best bang for the buck. Shake awake. Adjustment Clicks, -2- moa dot. Dot with circle, just dot, and circle with no dot. ( doughnut of death!) and solar with battery, no battery to worry about. Metal housing not plastic..

Let's see if I have it straight: Holosun "C" fits RMR, and Holosun "K" fits RMSc, correct?
