S&W Model 1917 Brazilian Contract Model .45 ACP Revolver - Uses full or half moon .45 ACP clips. Blued finish. No ammo or clips included. These were for the 1937 Brazilian government contract. S/N is 850XX which actually puts this as a US Govt. contracted revolver with a birth date of July 1918. I have read on some S&W forums that S&W bought back some revolvers from the US government for the contract but I do not have any S&W paperwork for this handgun.
