It appeals to me as well. I have been researching earth sheltered homes for over 15 years. One on a south facing hill in the Smokeys would be a dream retirement home since the wife will not consider Ketchikan.

I have seen some nice bungalows made from inactive missile silos...there are some in Missouri and new york
