I was in South Korea as they were preparing for the 88 Summer Olympics. Gov was making street markets take skinned dog carcasses out of the windows so as not to offend foreign cultures that would find it objectionable. This temp restriction went far outside Seoul but menu's didn't change. Lol

In addition, when I was stationed there in the early 60s, I don't recall seeing any live cats roaming the streets.
