I have a Norinco SKS that has been made 922r compliant. Rifle barrel was cut and re-crowned behind the front sight. A birdcage flash hider was permanently attached. (GUN HAS NO FRONT SIGHT). Gas piston & op rod were replaced, supplied by Tapco . The gas piston housing was replaced with a N Star set up. It uses the 20 round tapco mags (these are fully functioning in this rifle). The bolt lips were shaved so that the magazine could be removed with bolt open or closed. It has a recoil buffer installed. A Choate scope mount that is drilled & tapped into the side of the receiver (this mount is rock solid and holds a zero). On to the trigger it has wolf springs, USA sear, stainless USA trigger, and has had trigger work performed(this has a nice trigger pull for an SKS). Mounted inside a Dragonov stock. I've used reloads in this rifle with impressive results. Scope and bipod not included. The $ spent on upgrades well surpasses the cost of this rifle.
Im not trying to sell this rifle to the average SKS buyer , but to someone who will appreciate a tuned SKS.
