This is a Chinese version of the Russian TT-33. The pistol is in very good condition, extremely reliable and a fairly accurate shooter. I will rate bluing at 95%. Previous owner converted it from 7.62X25 to 9mm. Includes two magazines. As always, feel free to inspect before you buy.

Potential buyers from out of state must arrange for appropriate FFL transfer.

    Price is $200

Sorry, not looking for any trades.

Isn't this the model that has no safety whatsoever? Or am I thinking of another Norinco 9mm pistol?

If it's a direct clone of a TT-33 (aside from the 9mm rechambering), then it probably doesn't have a safety. Tokarev's are single action and their slide locks at half-cock, so it's not like they need a safety anyways.

The few TT33s I've owned had safeties added prior to importation. A Russian and a Polish.
The Chinese that I have is a Vietnam "Bring Back" and has no safety.

I would think these new made guns would require a safety to be imported.

A picture of the other side would answer the question.

I got a story about a gun like this if anyone is interested... As a missionary in Honduras, I came across a guy in the Olancho region (kinda like the old west in america where everyone carries a gun) who had one of these Norinco 9mms WITHOUT the safety. He told me about how it went off by itself once, while in his pants. That's right, in his waist band. (Yep, I'm crossing my legs as well, as I type this). Anyhow, he was lucky. He said it went off while he was sitting down and it went straight and high, so he was okay. But what an awful story. That's why I was asking about the safety. Glad to hear this one has one!
Just another reason my handle is "safety first." I want a gun with one! :)

Positive it's a conversion. Although the barrel is stamped 9mm, the slide is stamped "Model 54-1, 7.62x25"

The 2 mags are for the 7.62x25 cartridge but feed 9mm just fine.
