Nice Surprise in the Mail from S&W Today...

For the life of me, I can't remember signing up or sending in a rebate form on anything S&W lately...

But, in today's mail was a nice envelope from S&W that contained a very classy M&P challenge coin, a $50 check, and a nice letter from the CEO with an invitation to tour the plant if I ever find myself in Springfield.

That's the kind of mail I like to get!

Now, I need to show my loyalty by finding something S&W that I need. Maybe get another Shield 9?

+1 on the S&W military appreciation program.
There is almost always a rebate available to vets.

How in the heck did you get that?? Man, I get an occasional rebate check......but a challenge coin and factory tour invite??! Must be nice!

I don't have a clue. I honestly don't remember submitting for a rebate -- but maybe it was when I bought my Shield 40 from Academy. That's the only thing I can think of... I expect this is a standard form letter that everyone else gets -- but it was unexpected.

Interesting... It says that the Shield is excluded. I can't think of anything else I've bought new from S&W since July. Oh well, I might just have to go to Bud's Law Enforcement website and get me an M&P 45 -- and turn in another rebate for $50!

It's actually an ongoing program.
They run it in 6 mo intervals and occasionally change $ amt or what qualifies.
If you buy an M&P at the mil price and then apply the rebate makes for some good prices.
