I have a very nice Martin D-35 6 string Right hand guitar. The serial number indicates it was constructed in 1979. The guitar is extremely "low mileage" for the year the only signs of use are some minor belt buckle scratches on the back.

Bumpity Bump. The story is not very interesting. The original owner purchased the guitar in a music shop in Baton Rouge, I was told. She played it in a small church according to her. She said she bought the guitar in 1980. When I got it, it had 4 strings and hadn't been out of the case in years. I put a new set of strings on it, played it off and on for a month or so, and lost interest.
