Any restrictions on the handgun for the rifle match?

Yes, it cannot be a rifle caliber pistol that is not also a regular pistol caliber, but you can use one with optics or red dot sights and it must have a holster with at least two mags. You can use a .22LR caliber pistol up to a .44 mag, no 50's please. What are your thoughts on the pistol you are thinking about using?

I would like to take my sub XD 40 but i only have 2 magazines for it and onlly one holds 10+, if i remember correctly i saw that 3 mags were recomended?
I do not have a mag pouch or a good holster for it either. haha i have used a cheap universal IWB holster for 2 years and just barely ordered a alien gear holster but i still have about 2 weeks before that will arrived.
my only other pistol is my colt 1911 and i have mags for it but nothing else.
Most of my life i would just throw my stuff in a backpack and would go hiking in the mountains to shoot, so i never have invested in proper equipment to do this sort of stuff.

I have both an OWB 1911 holster and double mag pouch that you're welcome to use, I also have an XDM holster / pouches (not sure of those will work with your XD) that you're welcome to use as well. Just let me know and I'll throw them in my range bag!
