I was always taught that clips hold ammo(stripper clip and enbloc clip) and magazines feed ammo due to enclosed follower and spring. It’s trivial I know, but I can’t stand to hear it incorrectly.

4. get my coffee down

7. I think I have a Bear at my door, need to find my clip, Mag. or that dam thing that holds the ammo in for my firearm .
8, Maybe I should call 911, Maybe they can help me find it. May be they want put me on hold this time.
9. They told me to check my gun . that I may have left it in it.

My brain automatically takes note when people call a magazine a clip but it doesn't matter to me. Ive had friends, 60 something year old gun nuts that still call it a clip, never bothered me.
