I'm pretty new to shooting. Just bought my first revolver about a year ago. Since then, I've picked up a Glock 17, Ruger 10/22 Sporter, and a Marlin 336C. Been having a great time with them at the range. I also have been taking some handgun courses from Jason Bankston at Tac-Site in Summerdale, AL. I'm still on the steep part of the learning curve, so I'm seeing improvements in my shooting almost every time I go to the range. I've also been shooting a few IDPA matches at ERGC. That has really been a learning experience. Looks so easy, until you actually try to do it. I'm looking forward to trying my hand at some deer, hog, and squirrel hunting too. Needless to say, I've caught the bug, and I'm having a blast! I started reading posts on GCGF to keep up on news about the IDPA matches at ERGC. Of course, that led me to explore the other sections of the forum, and realize what a great resource this could be for a new shooter. So, here I am!
