My small electronics powder loads gives me 3-4 readings. Am I wasting my time with these small types? This one worked great for about a year. I want an accurate one that will hold. Electronic or mechanical. Any recommendations? Thanks.
I’ve had the same problem with my pocket sized Lyman scale. When I first got it it worked great about a years worth of use later it can’t seem to hold zero and fluctuates wildly. I’ve got a RCBS 10-10 beam scale and that is extremely accurate and I have 100% confidence when using it. I’ve also got a Lyman electric powder dispenser and sometimes I just use it for the scale function. It matches my beam scale. Unfortunately it seems you get what you pay for. If I was you I’d get a solid beam scale from rcbs or Redding, and then get a more expensive electronic one later if you feel it’s necessary. Good luck!
