I know, but the Air Force always seems to find a way to being F'Up's. Look at the AF top brass being fired for mishandling our nuclear program. Apparently, it's top to bottom. They can't seem to get anything right, lol. Talk about wasted taxpayer dollars. IMO ,it's time to disband the AF. All the other branches already have their own airpower.

I actually agree with that generalized statement. It's just a different mentality, not quite as backwards as the Army, but I still could never wrap my mind into the way the culture operates in either.

The thing that bugged me the most was the SOP before common sense mentality. Both the Army and AF shared that in my experience.

That's because most guys going into the military (forgive any rudeness) don't gave common sense. Most of the younger guys went in straight from high school and haven't experienced anything other than the military and living at home with their mom and dad.

PS same thing for the army guys,no more carpet bombing or C130 Gun Ships. Call in a chopper with some rockets or a chain gun for the 750 lb bombs.

I do feel like at Annapolis, they try tune your compass, so you can think for yourself and make good decisions. Maybe that permeates through the two branches. I don't know, it doesn't really matter anymore.
