Group fired / 308 M1 garand

[oneshot]

Finished getting a 308 M1 garand together today , and checked it for functioning , and then set the sights ,didn't shoot a 100yd put went straight to 200 yds, after a few shots to set sights, I got this three shot group at 200 yds. The barrel has 19 rds down it now, can't decide toit put up for sale, keep it. here is a pict. of the group what do you think .

I will always love the looks of the M1 Garand, just hated luging it on long marches. Just curious, why convert to .308?

I didn't convert this one it was a bare Rec. and had a barrel, have one more 308 barrel, and I have another bare Rec. Good parts have become harder to get and very expensive, I like the 308 rd. and have a lot of it, and I have several in 30-06. Just my 5 cents jj

200 yds with iron sights - better than good. My old eyes could find the target at 200 yds without help.
