I just picked up a G41 and really like the medium grip with extended beavertail. Before I've only had Gen 3 Glocks and handled the Gen 4s with standard grip. Haven't shot it yet, but I definitely get a more secure hold with the beaver. I don't recall it being mentioned in reviews I've read which is surprising. It's a nice option and big improvement to me. Anyone else using the new beavertail grips on their Gen 4s?

Excited to go put some rounds through it!

I've got pretty big hands, maybe that's why I prefer the longer beaver tail. On the standard it feels like the web of my hand could almost get bit by the slide, but then again it's never happened. Be interesting to see how if feels in live fire. Think I'm going to like it better though.

I have a set of beavertail grips I'm not using, if you are interested in buying them I will sell them to you (if I can find them).

Higher grip, to me, also typically means the trigger leverages differently, and allows for better trigger control. At least it seems that way to me.
