    Item
    Gen 2 Glock 23 40 S&W

    Location
    Fairhope/Mobile, AL

    Contact Info
    PM

    Price
$400 cash. I'm open to trades, but I'm specifically interested in the following:

    - Marlin 1895 GBL
    - Marlin XT-22YR Youth model
    - Glock 20SF
    - GLock 20 Gen 4
    - Walther PK380
    - Ruger 10/22

    Item Description
    Gen 2 Glock 23 40 S&W with 2 12rnd magazines for sale.

I got this on trade, but I've got a few new projects in mind and I don't need it.

    A few notes:
    - I was told it has a 3.5lb disconnector installed. I've tested the trigger compared to a known Glock with a 3.5lb disconnector and they both feel the same
    - It has Trijicon night sights installed
    - The slide has been Duracoated black. It's not perfect, but it looks pretty good.
    - The frame has a few nicks and scratches

I have tried to take pictures of all the areas of interest. I'll be happy to answer any questions.

The serial number begins with AVT:

I can't find any definite info on the web, but according to this list, the code falls in between other Gen 2's manufactured in 1994. I'll be placing a call to Glock in the morning to verify.

I also updated the trade value in the OP.

I just got off the phone with Ed at Glock, Inc. According to the serial number, this handgun in indeed a Gen 2 and was imported March 16, 1994.

This thread will be cleaned up to remove unnecessary posts. Thanks for all your interest.

Also, price reduced for a quick sale.

    Back up. Open to trades.

I really don't need it, but if I keep it much longer I'll have to buy some ammo for it and test it out. I don't want to have to do that.

Still for sale. I'm open to selling this to a resident of another state, but it will have to go through an FFL and the buyer will be responsible for all shipping and transfer fees.

I shot it 12 times yesterday to function check it. It shoots very well, I'm just not a huge fan of the 40 S&W cartridge.

.40 S&W seems to be one of the only pistol cartridges that are "always" for sale at our Wal Mart. 9X19 is non existant unless you wanna buy that 1200 rd pack for
    $500.00 GLWS.

40 cal. the only pistol round that I do not have. And the one that is always on the shelf at Wally World. I'm thinking.

    Did you ban him??

It wasn't someone from this forum, but I wouldn't have if it was. We made plans to meet today, but he contacted me about an hour later and told me some things came up. I understand that it happens. I'm just glad that he told me, and quickly at that. I've numerous instances where the potential buyer/seller's communication just quits abruptly with no explanation.
