Price drop, I don't want to move this. It has been in storage a year or more.

550.00 or gun etc. of equal value. Hunting items, jon boat

I purchased this bike brand new from the dealer in Destin last year and probably put approximately 50 miles on it before my priorities changed. I bought 60 acres and now I get more exercise than I can stand working there. This bike has been in my storage shed since approximately August 2013.
It is the XL, it was fitted for me and I'm 6'4. The bike is in excellent condition and has the shocks you can lock/unlock.

Would consider trading for storage building/cover, guns etc.

it may help if you put the word 'mountain bike' in the title. Giant makes some greaT bikes...I had one back in the 90's when Mountain Biking was just beggining...GLWS

Yep, Giant makes a great bike. Bought my first one in '88. Got my current one in '03.

Can you speak to the components please, particularly the shifters and drivetrain? Is this their 0 or 1 model? Thanks!

I have no clue. This is my first high dollar bike. Does any of this help answer your question?

•Avid Elixir 1 hydraulic disc brakes
•Giant S-XC29 2 alloy rims and Giant Tracker Sport hubs

Giant's website doesn't make it easy to look up past years' models, but if you search on Google for the specific year and model, you can usually get to the archive page for the bike you're researching.

I Currently Have 3 Giants. All Of Mine Are Highend Bikes. The Talon Lineup Is Meant For The Sport Enthusiast Who Wants To Ride But Not race. As Long As This Bike Is Taken Care Of It Will Last Many Years For A New Owner. The Shifters And driveTrain Are Not highEnd But Will Work Just Fine For the Majority Of people.

I Encourage Anyone 6'2"+ (32"+ Inseam) Interested In This Bicycle To Go Test Ride It. We Have many Local Mountain Bike Trails And This Would Be A Great Bike For AN Entry Level/To Enthusiast Level person Looking To Ride. Also At First All Bicycle Seats Suck! They Can Be Relatively Cheaply Changed Out To Something That Fits Your ButT A Little Better.

I've Been Riding Since 09' & On A Giant The Entire Time. I've Ridden As Far As 75 Miles On A Mountain Bike In The Mountains Of North GeorgiA. Then Did A Two Day 175 Mile Ride From Houston, Tx To Austin, Tx For Charity.

Oh And I've Done All Of This Between 299 To Now 249 Pounds. I Ain't No Skinny Cyclist. Good Luck With The Sale. I Ride A 2011 Giant Anthem X 29Er, 2012 Giant Tcr Advanced Sl(About 16 Pound Roadbike), And A 2014 Giant RevolT cyclocross Bike.

PS, Giant Manufacturers 90% Of All Bicycle Frames In Their Plant In Taiwan.
