What are your thoughts regarding the label "Domestic Terrorist" as it may soon be used by the party in power.

It "had" official meaning, now it being overly used by the Left like the Race Card as a catch all insult and unfounded insinuation against anything and anyone that they see as opposition. I wish I could say it was simple and typical playground bullying by the Left. Very similar to the Lefts accusations of kkk and white supremacist ties to Trump but any anti Left person can get publicly tagged. The problem with this DT label narrativeis is that its use can actually drive intel, security and LE agency inquires and actions.

A former coworker and veteran about 10 years ago got rip roaring drunk at a bar and had no idea what he was saying. He woke up behind bars with terrorism charges and served several years. I knew him after he'd gotten out of prison. According to the prosecution he had told an Arab sitting next to him at the bar to "go back to where he came from". The Arab turned out to be an undercover officer and arrested him on the spot. People, watch out, because it was a witch hunt against conservatives then and now its going to be even worse

I'd never considered that I'd known a bonafide convicted "domestic" terrorist until now, but yep, he's an American in America and a convicted terrorist, for the rest of his life, and for no good reason besides that he just got drunk and spouted off

They threaten violence and destruction upon innocents or specific groups if their Unconstitutional demands aren't met. In addition, they ACT on their threats and commit heinous cowardly crimes. They are organized and well-funded. They attack local, state, and federal police. They have uniforms, hierarchy rank structure, and well-established communication and transportation networks. If those attributes don't add to up to "domestic terrorism", then what does?

I think the concern is that its no longer possible to "lay low" - You have a different opinion from what they want, and you may find yourself labeled. After this last election, creating lists of opposition members and denying them careers was openly discussed.

it's here to stay now, it doesn't matter what the left has done, that was people acting out because they weren't being heard. Now, if the right wants to be heard, they are labeled as terrorists. I sure hope we can break out of this viscous circle some how.... But, it seems, currently, the power rests with the small outrageous acts of the few... and the bad thing is, that they know this.....
