Disturbance at 4am

10 or 15 knocks followed by 10 or 15 more. Girlfriend woke me up, I heard the last 3. No noises, cry for help. No calls or text. I sat up waiting for more. Did not turn on lights, I didn't see anything outside. Spoke with neighbors, they didn't see or hear anything.
Hope I can sleep tonight. Just don't know who or what or why. Live on corner lot with street light. Never had an issue before. Been here 14 years.

I hope it doesn't happen again. I have a 'Ring' video doorbell that activates if anyone approaches my door. I can view it live and speak with the visitor, and it also records the encounter. It would be helpful for the type of situation you described.

I'm in service at a different house, sometimes multiples a day and see them often now. I'd imagine they are wireless?

The tweakers or the Ring? Ring works off of wifi to your phone if you set it up. My pistol is wireless I know that much.

Mine connects to the original doorbell wiring & uses wifi. A cell phone app alerts me wherever I am, and I can see it in real time or look at it later.

My wife happened to wake up at 4:00 this morning and saw a light coming thru the window.
She looked out and a car was driving slowly down the street shining a spotlight in everybody’s yard.

This happened to me in the middle of the night, about 11 years ago, up north of Milton. Maybe 10 or 11pm. Cute lady in a halter top, all alone, seen thru the window and the door' fish eye bubble. I opened the door to ask her what's going on (with the wife stacked behind me and ready for action) and I come face to face with a drunk college chick drooling on herself and baring half a naked chest. She was innocently enough at the wrong house and out of her gord. Shut the door and left the zombie standing right there. Thank God I was married and had a witness. I dont miss the singles days at all. That situation could have gone bad a dozen ways

ive 110% done that, I mean been shitfaced at a buddies apt pool house and went to go back to his place to the party, to instead black out and walk a mile up the road to knock on some poor slobs door at 3am wondering why I was locked out. Thank god, the tenants were a 20 something peace/love/socialist couple that let me crash their couch with a emergency trash can without either blowing a hole through my chest or taking one of my kidneys. They were good enough the next morning to offer breakfast before they drove me to my truck. Struck me as real Christian behavior for a couple atheists.
